From July 2024 to February 2025, I was in the Kyrgyz Republic with the Aga Khan Development Network, supporting their work in education, economic development, and more. Below are a selection of photos taken from my travels around the region.

A rancher overlooks the valley while his horses graze.
In July I moved to Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic to start a fellowship with the Aga Khan Foundation. I was super excited to be selected for this posting due to the opportunity to live in Central Asia, a part of the world not often travelled to. Being here has been great so far, especially because of how much nature there is to explore. I was able to grab this shot while on the way up to Adygene Lake in Ala Archa National Park, just outside of Bishkek. It was cool to see the local ranchers around the lower parts of the valley with their cows and horses - this way of living is not something I saw much living in Canada over the past few years.
